Let’s get real for a minute… you’ve seen the name of this practice, so there’s no point pretending this is your grandma’s kind of therapy. You’re not here for sugar-coated “mm-hmm, tell me more” bullshit. You’re here because life has been heavy, confusing, overwhelming—maybe all of the above—and you’re looking for a space where you’ll actually be heard, seen, and met with honesty instead of fluff.

Maybe you’ve noticed yourself repeating the same patterns, getting in your own way even when you know you need something different. If any of that hits, you’re exactly where you need to be.

This practice is grounded in real-world experience—built on years spent in high-stress, no-nonsense environments where people don’t have the luxury of pretending everything’s fine. The work here comes from supporting families through the Department of Children and Families (DCF), walking alongside incarcerated individuals in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), and leading intense group therapy in Behavioral Health Hospitals. The formal training behind it—a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice—laid the foundation. But what actually matters for you is the ability to sit with your mess, make sense of it, and help you create real change.

This isn’t therapy that tiptoes around the truth. When something is within your control to shift, you’ll hear it straight. When it’s something heavier, something rooted in past wounds or survival mode, you get compassion, grounding, and a steady presence—not pressure.
This space is built for people who’ve had to be strong for too long, who are tired of keeping everything bottled up, and who want something more than surface-level coping. Here, you get someone willing to get in the mud with you, to challenge you when needed, and to offer a well-timed Kick in the Ass when that’s what helps you move forward.

At the core of it all is a deep belief in your strength—even if you don’t see it yet. All that’s asked of you is that you show up as you are. No judgment. No pretense. Just readiness to do the work, at your pace and in your way. Together, we sort through the hard stuff, unpack the old patterns, and build something that finally feels like your life again.
